MoonR ("we", "us") operates moonr.space, a novelty entertainment service. For a fee, you may symbolically "rent" the Moon for one calendar day: your name and optional dedication are recorded in the MoonR registry for that day, you receive a personalized digital certificate, and a corresponding blockchain token is created as a verifiable record of your entry (see Section 4).
MoonR is a symbolic, entertainment-only product. In accordance with the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, the Moon is not subject to appropriation by any state or person. Accordingly, nothing you purchase from MoonR creates, transfers, or implies any legal ownership, tenancy, easement, mineral rights, landing rights, or any other real rights over the Moon or any celestial body. You are buying a certificate, a registry entry, and a story — nothing more, and we say so everywhere.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles payment processing, sales taxes, invoices, and payment-related customer service. Each calendar day can be sold only once; a day is reserved when you begin checkout and released automatically if payment is not completed within 30 minutes.
Each completed purchase mints a non-fungible token (ERC-721) on a public blockchain, where the token ID equals your rented date. The token represents your MoonR certificate and registry entry only — not any rights over the Moon (see Section 2). The token is held in MoonR's custodial wallet; you may claim it to your own wallet at no extra charge (network gas fees apply). Blockchain records are public and permanent: your submitted name and dedication become part of an immutable public ledger and cannot later be edited or deleted.
Your name and dedication are displayed publicly. You must not submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringing, or that impersonates others. We may reject or redact such content (on our site and certificate; on-chain data already minted cannot be altered) without refund where the violation is intentional.
See our Refund Policy. In short: refunds within 14 days of purchase, provided your rented day has not yet occurred and the token has not been claimed to your personal wallet.
We aim to keep the service and public day-pages available indefinitely, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The blockchain record exists independently of our website. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for events beyond our control (including blockchain network failures).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Your payment relationship is with Paddle and is additionally governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
